Путь, по которому излучение или радионуклиды могут попасть к человеку и привести к его облучению. Путь облучения может быть очень простым, например, как в случае внешнего облучения от аэрозольных радионуклидов, или более сложной цепью, например, в случае внутреннего облучения при потреблении молока коров, которые питались травой, загрязненной радионуклидами.
